At the heart of Coffee & Kin is the desire to help those in need and give back to the community. We’re setting up the Coffee & Kin Foundation to provide support to people and organisations in the communities where our coffee is grown.

For every pod we sell, we’ll put 1p into the foundation. For every bag of beans, it’s 10p. We hope that it will soon add up and we will be able to make a real difference to those who need it. Before investing in projects, we will be sure to ask our Kinship members which projects they would like to support and we promise to keep you informed about our progress through our blog.

By buying our products, you are directly giving back to the people that produced the coffee you are drinking – something that we believe is extremely powerful.

We will pay for all administrative overheads and a board of Trustees will be established, all of who will work voluntarily for the foundation.

Our aim is to offer grants for the relief of hardship, poverty, suffering and inequality and this will be achieved through education and vocational training, medical treatment and healthcare, personal development and employment. We also hope the fund will be able to offer capital grants to build, renovate and maintain schools, children’s homes, community centres and environmental projects within the community.
